“It was like she was losing herself,” said the father. “She was a happy, confident kid, and this bullying just sucked the life out of her.”

“We want to show that we’re just like any other family,” said the father. “We have the same values, the same goals, and the same love for each other. We just happen to choose to live our lives in a different way.”

“She started to feel really self-conscious about her body,” said the father. “She would come home from school and say that she didn’t want to go back, that she didn’t want to be teased anymore.”

As for the daughter, she’s learned a valuable lesson about the importance of self-acceptance and self-love.

“I’ve learned that I’m not alone, and that there are others out there who understand what I’m going through,” she said. “I’m proud of who I am, and I won’t let anyone else define me.”
