CodeQuest 2024 brings coding and competition together in a month-long global coding challenge for the top. We use the reputable CodeCombat multiple players arena algorithm challenge, which was used in the 33rd IOI competition(2021) for global top coding players from 87 countries and regions.
Based on the final ranking we're currently reaching out to those on the top of the leaderboard via email, WeChat, Facebook, WhatsApp and etc to verify information.
We will announce winners in early Sempter (the time will be determind later). Please follow our news to stay tuned.
Thank you to all the CodeQuest 2024 Global Tournament participants who joined us this year, BEST LUCK!
Before diving in, a : Editing the registry incorrectly can corrupt your driver installation or cause system instability. Always back up your registry (File > Export) and create a System Restore point before making changes. Where AMD Hides its Driver Settings Most AMD GPU tweaks live under this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318\0000 amd registry tweaks
The 0000 folder typically represents your primary GPU. If you have multiple cards, check 0001 , 0002 , etc. 1. Disable ULPS (Ultra Low Power State) What it does: ULPS turns off your GPU when not in use to save power. However, it can cause multi-GPU stutter, black screens on wake, or stability issues in CrossFire/Vega/Navi cards. Before diving in, a : Editing the registry
For PC enthusiasts, the AMD graphics driver suite (Adrenalin) offers a robust control panel. However, many settings that power users crave are not exposed in the GUI. They lie dormant in the Windows Registry. Tweaking these values can unlock lower latency, higher frame rates in specific workloads, or finer control over power management—but it comes with risks. If you have multiple cards, check 0001 , 0002 , etc
Do not manually edit this binary blob. MPT provides a safe GUI. | Tweak | Real-World Impact | |-------|-------------------| | Disable ULPS | Fixes multi-GPU stutter. No effect on single GPU in modern drivers (post-2022). | | TdrDelay | Essential for compute/mining/overclocking. Useless for gaming on stock settings. | | Disable HDCP | Microsecond latency drop. Only helpful for competitive esports. | | PowerPlay mods | Noticeable (5–15%) performance gain on power-limited cards like RX 6000/7000 series. | The Easiest "Registry Tweak" (That Isn't Really a Tweak) You don't need to touch the registry for most modern optimizations. Use AMD Adrenalin software to export and import your tuning profiles. These profiles are saved as .xml files but write directly to the same registry keys mentioned above—safely. Final Word AMD registry tweaks are powerful but largely unnecessary for everyday gaming on modern RDNA 2 or 3 GPUs. The driver already does an excellent job. However, for stubborn multi-GPU issues, compute workloads, or extreme overclocking, these hidden keys can be lifesavers.
One tweak at a time. Test stability. Keep notes. And always keep a bootable USB recovery drive handy—just in case you tweak your way into a black screen.
